The index rose quickly as Bitcoin recently jumped from the $60,000 range to near $80,000. It has now climbed to a level similar to March 2024, when Bitcoin broke above $70,000.

Excessively positive or negative sentiment often signals a turning point in the market, Darkfost wrote.

He added that investor sentiment is returning to normal after a bout of overheating. Bitcoin is also showing signs of trying to hold its current price range.
