Banques et régulateurs rejoignent un pilote de transfert crypto résistant au quantique

Des banques et des régulateurs financiers à travers l'Europe, le Moyen-Orient et l'Asie ont rejoint un projet pilote testant une infrastructure résistante au quantique pour les portefeuilles d'actifs numériques et les transferts onchain. 

Le Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI) et le fournisseur d'infrastructure de garde crypto Safeheron ont annoncé l'initiative lundi. 

Le projet pilote utilise un protocole de calcul multipartie prenant en charge ML-DSA-65, une norme de signature numérique post-quantique publiée par le US National Institute of Standards and Technology, sur un réseau de test NEAR résistant au quantique.

RFI a déclaré que les régulateurs participants incluent Abu Dhabi Global Market, le Gelephu Financial Services Office du Bhoutan et la Malta’s Financial Services Authority, tandis que Bison Bank et DK Bank participent en tant qu'institutions financières. 

Les banques testeront la génération de portefeuilles et les transferts dans un environnement d'application partagé. Pendant ce temps, les régulateurs observeront la première phase et contribueront plus tard à un volet de travail sur la gouvernance, avec des niveaux de participation différant selon les institutions. 

Les organisateurs prévoient de publier un livre blanc couvrant la recherche, la conception du protocole et les conclusions des tests, et à terme de passer la technologie sous-jacente en open-source.
