After recently breaking decisively above the $80,000 mark, Bitcoin has established a new trading phase. Andy Bell, Director of Asset Management at GSR, pointed out that this price level marks a substantial shift in the underlying market structure. On Monday, Bitcoin briefly touched $81,272, marking the first test of this key level since May. Meanwhile, U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded nearly $2 billion in net inflows over five consecutive trading days, further confirming a notable return of institutional demand.
According to data compiled by Woofun AI, approximately $1.06 billion in positions were liquidated as prices moved rapidly higher. Alongside rising options activity and perpetual contract funding rates, these indicators suggest that the current rally enjoys relatively broad-based support. Within GSR’s Core3 strategy, the portfolio includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, with Solana commanding a 44% allocation weight—reflecting that investors are turning their attention to blockchain networks that support tokenization technology and stablecoin applications.
