The Bitcoin ETF market has reached a scale that would have seemed extraordinary only a few years ago. BlackRock’s IBIT held more than $67 billion in net assets in late September, giving stock-market investors a vast, familiar vehicle for BTC exposure. Its success reinforces Bitcoin’s institutional status, while also raising a question for buyers seeking a more emerging crypto growth story.

Remittix enters that comparison at an earlier stage. The project has announced a $0.46 final presale tier and a November 24 RTX debut, with wallet and Markets products already available and PayFi being tested by invited holders. IBIT offers established Bitcoin access; Remittix’s appeal depends on how far a customer-facing payments and trading platform can grow from its initial community.

Bitcoin ETF: Why IBIT’s $67B Matters

BlackRock’s IBIT fund page showed net assets of approximately $67.3 billion as of September 24. That is the market value of assets held by the fund at that point, not a prediction about the next Bitcoin move or a single day’s new investment. A fund of this scale can make BTC easier for conventional portfolios to hold and can deepen the asset’s institutional presence.

Bitcoin’s liquidity, long history and role as the leading crypto asset support that institutional case. A large ETF still rises and falls with the underlying token, and BTC near $84,000 in early October has been sensitive to macro conditions. For investors looking beyond an established market leader, the attraction of smaller projects lies in the potential for a new product to expand its audience much faster from a lower base.
