Scotiabank has entered the digital asset ETF space through its asset management arm, Dynamic Funds, launching an actively managed multi-crypto fund in partnership with 3iQ. The Dynamic Active Multi-Crypto ETF, under ticker DXMC, began trading on Cboe Canada on Wednesday.
The fund offers exposure to four cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP. Dynamic reduced the management fee from 0.45% to 0.25% until March 1, 2027, a pricing move Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas described as highly competitive.

Scotiabank is one of Canada's five largest banks by assets. Its decision to launch the product reflects wider institutional interest in the asset class, particularly as the Canadian ETF market has a longer track record with crypto products than the United States.
Bitcoin moved from $64,259.2 to $79,009.9 over the last 30-day period, a gain of 23.0 percent.
