Tribunal do Reino Unido encerra Key Coin Assets

O governo do Reino Unido anunciou em 18 de agosto que um tribunal de Londres encerrou a Key Coin Assets Ltd. uma semana antes. Uma investigação do Insolvency Service, a agência governamental do Reino Unido que investiga má conduta corporativa e insolvência, não encontrou evidências de que a empresa tenha realizado qualquer uma das negociações de cripto que anunciava.

Nove pessoas que levaram suas queixas ao Action Fraud, o centro nacional de denúncias de fraudes e crimes cibernéticos do Reino Unido, pagaram à empresa mais de £300,000 entre elas.

Esquemas de investimento não autorizados continuam sendo um risco real para os poupadores do Reino Unido, com o regime completo de autorização de cripto da Grã-Bretanha ainda a mais de um ano de distância.
