Arthur Hayes: FLOP testnet tokens will support real fund transactions via HTLC protocol

Arthur Hayes stated that FLOP testnet tokens will support real fund transactions through Hashed Time-Locked Contracts (HTLC) and will be redeemable for FLOP mainnet tokens at a pending ratio. Users can participate in the FLOP Labs testnet as miners, validators, or agents.

Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang stated that the blockchain ecosystem generally faces long-term funding challenges, particularly for public goods financing. Supporting developer funds through inflation is an effective mechanism. Although there is room for improvement in fund allocation methods, this fund is especially critical for Zcash amidst strengthening AI-driven cyberattack capabilities and rapid quantum technology advancements.

He also noted that as Zcash gains acceptance and adoption as a privacy supplement to Bitcoin, relying solely on token voting could introduce unpredictability and undermine its long-term credibility as a monetary asset, so token voting should be combined with other governance mechanisms.
