Hyperliquid HYPE ETFs Return to Inflows as Crypto Funds Attract $1.1 Billion

Crypto investment funds recorded $1.1 billion in inflows, signaling renewed institutional demand across digital-asset products. Hyperliquid HYPE-linked ETFs also returned to positive flows, according to the report.

Öne Çıkanlar

  • 01 Crypto funds attracted a reported $1.1 billion in net inflows.
  • 02 Hyperliquid HYPE ETFs returned to inflows after prior outflows or weaker demand.
  • 03 The data points to improving investor appetite for regulated crypto investment products.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) spot ETFs returned to positive territory in the week ending August 7, recording $2.84 million in net inflows and snapping a three-week streak of investor withdrawals.

The latest recovery brings cumulative net inflows into HYPE ETFs to approximately $280.8 million. The products launched in mid-May and initially enjoyed consistent demand before investor sentiment weakened in July.

Over the previous three weeks, HYPE ETFs recorded a combined $30.6 million in net outflows. Redemptions accelerated during the week ending July 31, when investors withdrew $14.7 million. Bitwise's BHYP accounted for the largest portion of those withdrawals.

JPMorgan strategist Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou previously linked the slowdown in HYPE ETF demand to increasing competition in the crypto investment market. The weaker fund flows also coincided with declining HYPE prices.

HYPE traded in the low-$60 range in late July before slipping toward $55 in early August. The Hyperliquid token is now trading around $54.75, representing a roughly 3% daily decline. It also remains about 29% below its June 16 all-time high of $76.87.

The renewed HYPE ETF inflows came alongside a broader recovery in crypto ETF demand. Major cryptocurrency investment products attracted close to $1.1 billion in combined weekly inflows through August 7.

Bitcoin ETFs dominated the market with $853.5 million in weekly net inflows, reversing $61.5 million in outflows during the previous week. Ethereum ETFs followed with $244.9 million, marking their strongest weekly performance since mid-April.

Demand for smaller altcoin ETFs remained comparatively subdued. Solana ETFs attracted only $145,000, sharply below the $7.2 million recorded two weeks earlier. XRP ETFs posted $1 million in inflows after drawing $14.9 million the previous week.

The latest crypto ETF flows suggest investors are concentrating capital in Bitcoin and Ethereum while maintaining a more selective approach toward altcoins. Still, HYPE's return to positive inflows provides an encouraging reversal after its longest redemption streak since launch.
