New crypto wallet withdraws $10M in UNI, BNB and LTC in one hour

Big money is on the move again, and this whale just made some hefty bets. Here’s the rundown.

New crypto wallet puts $7.4 million into Uniswap

A brand-new wallet, starting with 0xC37, didn’t waste any time. Within an hour of being created, it had built up a position worth about $10.13 million across three tokens!

Uniswap [UNI] is the obvious favorite for this trader. They picked up 814,000 UNI worth roughly $7.44 million. That’s about $9.14 per token. UNI accounted for nearly three-quarters of the transferred value.

The rest was split between two names; 2,382 Binance Coin [BNB] worth around $1.85 million, and 12,397 Litecoin [LTC] worth $841,000. That’s the remaining 18% and 8%.

A new wallet with activity as big as this usually means its a large player. Who is behind it, though?

That could be anyone’s guess.

Not the only trader splashing cash…

Over on the Bitcoin [BTC] side, one whale’s been buying. The dip hasn’t scared them off one bit.

According to Lookonchain, the wallet bc1qdp bought 536.93 BTC worth about $45.28 million. That comes down to $84,300 per coin.

Over the past 20 days, the same whale has stacked 2,460 BTC, worth around $194.3 million. Those were bought at an average price of $78,966.

The latest buy came in well above that average. That implies that the whale isn’t looking for a bargain, and is perfectly alright with wobbly price movements.

Says a lot about how Bitcoin’s next move is perceived.

Not everyone wants to buy though

One Ethereum [ETH] holder went the other way.

OTC whale 0x8c58 sold 42,005 ETH, worth about $111.89 million, during the market dip. That’s roughly $2,664 per coin. After the sale, the wallet has just 9,996 ETH left.

Here’s what’s peculiar about this sale. The day before yesterday, this whale stashed about 4.5K ETH. And they didn’t stop there, buying another 15K yesterday.

That’s 19,500 ETH in two days, and they’ve now sold more than double that amount.
