Una filial del comité de acción política (PAC) Fairshake, financiado principalmente por Coinbase y Ripple Labs, ha invertido más de $2 millones en medios de comunicación oponiéndose a un candidato demócrata que no parecía haber adoptado ninguna posición destacada sobre los activos digitales antes de que se publicaran los anuncios.

Según los registros de la Comisión Federal de Elecciones (FEC) hasta el martes, el PAC Protect Progress había gastado más de $2 millones en anuncios que se oponían al candidato demócrata Oliver Gilbert en el 24º distrito congresional de Florida.
