- Kiyosaki said what changed his view of money and the future.
- He shared the story of his futurist mentor.
- According to Kiyosaki, the mentor predicted the emergence of bitcoin and AI, and reminded him about his “life purpose.”
American entrepreneur and author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad” Robert Kiyosaki spoke about the influence of futurist Richard Buckminster Fuller on his worldview, linking the latter’s long-ago technology forecasts to the emergence of bitcoin and the development of artificial intelligence.
In a post on X, Kiyosaki also raised the question of a person’s purpose in life and recalled his own path from working in the music business to creating the Cashflow financial board game and writing “Rich Dad Poor Dad.”
Kiyosaki recalled that he used to earn money in the music business by developing products for bands including The Police, Van Halen, and Iron Maiden. Despite financial success and the chance to spend time backstage with the musicians, the entrepreneur said he gradually began to feel an inner emptiness.
According to him, the turning point was meeting Fuller, whom Kiyosaki called one of his heroes. The entrepreneur studied with him over three summer seasons.
