SEALSQ is investing $24.5 million in quantum computing companies as part of its SEALQUANTUM initiative. The company intends to construct a “Sovereign Quantum Vertical Stack,” a fully-integrated system spanning quantum and post-quantum technologies, with a planned capital allocation of $200 million.

SEALSQ views the quantum industry as entering a phase focused on industrialization and monetization, aiming to build an interconnected industrial ecosystem where investments combine technology, agreements, customers, and revenues across the Stack. The company states that the most important aspect of the SEALQUANTUM model is that these relationships are intended to generate more than potential appreciation in the value of its investments.

SEALSQ’s $24.5M Investment in Quobly and EeroQ Quantum Architectures

SEALSQ has committed $24.5 million to direct investments in Quobly and EeroQ, two companies developing distinct approaches to quantum computing hardware. This financial commitment underscores a strategic shift within the quantum industry, moving beyond foundational research toward industrial application and revenue generation. Quobly, a French firm, is focused on silicon-based quantum processors utilizing spin qubits and established semiconductor manufacturing techniques. SEALSQ participated as a lead investor in Quobly’s €115 million Series A financing round, committing €15 million (approximately $17.5 million) and securing governance rights, including a seat on Quobly’s supervisory board.
