Tap Global Group (AIM: TAP) is taking a fundamentally different path.

The London-listed digital finance platform has raised £1 million (approximately $1.3 million) through an oversubscribed conditional placing, issuing 100 million new ordinary shares at 1 penny per share. While the capital sum itself is modest, the strategic deployment signals a shift in institutional crypto treasury management: moving away from static reserve holdings toward an active, income-generating balance-sheet model.

Net proceeds are earmarked to seed Tap’s Digital Asset Income Strategy (DAIS), an ambitious plan to establish what the firm aims to make the UK’s largest income-generating digital asset treasury.
