A integração da inteligência artificial (IA) no dia a dia está se tornando onipresente, atuando como um assistente pessoal em tudo, desde operações bancárias até compras online. Na assistência médica, a IA já está melhorando os diagnósticos e agilizando os fluxos de trabalho clínicos. No entanto, uma nova fronteira está surgindo. As pessoas estão recorrendo cada vez mais a chatbots para apoio emocional.

Essa tendência é particularmente prevalente entre os jovens, de acordo com Cinnamon Bloss, PHD ’07, psicóloga clínica licenciada e professora na UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science e na School of Medicine, cuja pesquisa se concentra na interseção entre tecnologia e saúde.
