The market for tokenized stocks is growing rapidly. On-chain transfer volume surged 415% over the past 30 days to $29.5 billion.

Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 29, citing data from on-chain real-world asset platform RWA.xyz, that monthly active addresses for tokenized stocks climbed more than 209% to about 1.3 million. The number of holders rose 167% to more than 2.36 million.

The total value of tokenized stocks circulating on-chain increased 1.45% over the same period to $2.54 billion, the data showed. That was 637% higher than $344 million a year earlier.

By platform, Ondo was the largest with $842.8 million. Kraken’s xStocks followed at $609.3 million, and Binance’s bStocks stood at $599.9 million. Together, the three platforms accounted for about 81% of the market.

Among individual tokenized stocks, Securitize Corp. was the largest at about $163 million. Strategy PP Variable xStock followed at $136 million, while Ondo’s tokenized Circle Internet Group shares stood at $109 million.
