X Sues Bitcoin Influencers Over Alleged £207K Creator Revenue Scheme

In the lawsuit, submitted in England, X alleged that two identified defendants, along with several unidentified account operators, ran coordinated accounts focused on Bitcoin to maximize their engagement and make at least £207,384 from the platform’s previous Creator Revenue Sharing Program.

The Sept. 17 claim named Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa and “persons unknown”. X Internet Unlimited Company and X Corp. brought the case in the Business and Property Courts of England and Wales. It was ultimately not resolved, and no judgment of wrongdoing was found in the documents.

The complaint alleges that six main accounts participated in Creator Revenue Sharing between August 2023 and February 2026: @Vivek4real, @BitcoinTeddy, @saylordocs, @TrendingBitcoin, @Kalshibacktest and @PolyBackTest. X describes the accounts as coordinated, operated as a unit, and sought to increase monetizable engagement.

The company noted that posts with substantially similar content appeared across multiple accounts within a short time frame, and the accounts did like, repost, and reply to each other.

X also showed examples of multiple accounts liking or retweeting the same post within seconds, or posting likewise-worded tweets within minutes. X identifies three additional handles as amplifiers of the main network.
