The XRP Bull Case
XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) is attracting institutional capital as investors bet the XRP Ledger can become a major settlement network for stablecoins, tokenized assets and cross-border payments.
U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds pulled in $18.98 million over three sessions through Sept. 10 as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) funds lost a combined $479 million, Benzinga reported.
The investment case, according to 21Shares, rests on four factors: regulatory clarity, easier institutional access, measurable network activity and a fixed supply.
Reason 1: Regulatory Risk Has Eased
The Securities and Exchange Commission’s case against Ripple ended in August 2025, removing a legal cloud that had followed XRP since December 2020.
That outcome matters because XRP targets banks, asset managers and payment companies—the institutions least likely to allocate while its regulatory status remained disputed.
XRP still faces the volatility and adoption risks attached to major altcoins, but U.S. investors no longer face the same unresolved securities question.
