What the ETF Flow Data Shows
U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded inflows of $1.55 million on September 8, $12.29 million on September 9, and $5.14 million on September 10, extending their streak to three consecutive positive sessions according to SoSoValue.
With Friday’s data still pending, XRP ETFs are on track to close their ninth consecutive week of positive inflows.
Bitcoin ETFs told the opposite story, posting three straight outflow sessions totaling $449.45 million including $282.56 million on Wednesday alone.
Ethereum ETFs added to the pain with a $29.76 million outflow on Sept. 10, leaving XRP as the only major crypto ETF category attracting fresh institutional capital during this week’s selloff.
Why XRP’s Low Correlation Matters
Analyst SMQKE posted on X that XRP already has the characteristics needed to decouple from Bitcoin, pointing to WisdomTree data confirming XRP holds the lowest correlation of any major crypto asset.
WisdomTree’s crypto monthly report puts XRP’s correlation to Bitcoin at just 0.35, well below Bitcoin’s 0.71 correlation to Ethereum.
