XRP has spent years making cross-border payments a mainstream crypto investment theme. Yet a fast way to move value between institutions does not, by itself, tell a freelancer how to turn a crypto payment into money in a bank account. That last step is where a new project is trying to build its own customer base.
At Remittix, 1,000 existing RTX holders have been invited to test PayFi with EUR and USD options. Its wallet and live Markets platform could bring more people into the same ecosystem before they ever need a bank payout. If the first testers return for another transfer, the intriguing comparison with XRP becomes less about a familiar payments narrative and more about who wins the customer’s everyday payment.
XRP’s Cross-Border Payments Case: What Gives It Staying Power?
Ripple’s payments business focuses on helping institutions move value internationally. XRP benefits from being one of the most recognizable tokens associated with that wider sector, with deep liquidity and a large community.
XRP was trading around $1.54 in early October. A return to $3 would require almost a doubling from that range, and traders will first look for sustained buying through nearer levels such as $1.70. Ripple’s reach can keep the token relevant whenever banks and digital payment networks make headlines.
