Insider Brief

  • ZeroTier has released Release Candidate 3 (RC3) of ZeroTier Quantum, a networking platform designed to provide post-quantum cryptographic protection across managed, sovereign, self-hosted and air-gapped deployments.
  • The release adds Windows, macOS, Linux and Android client support, credential-based device enrollment, controlled software delivery and administrative security event generation.
  • ZeroTier says RC3 has undergone protocol and code audits and is being tested with customers, as the company moves toward production deployment using ML-KEM-1024, ML-DSA-87 and AES-256-GCM.

PRESS RELEASE — ZeroTier, one of the world’s top software-defined networking companies, today announced Release Candidate 3 (RC3) of ZeroTier Quantum, the world’s only software-defined end-to-end quantum-secure networking platform. The release marks the final production step towards full deployment, proving ZeroTier Quantum can deliver secure, quantum-safe connectivity regardless of customer’s deployment type, location, or desired privacy posture.

RC3 moves ZeroTier Quantum closer to production readiness through expanded flexibility, broader client support, stronger administrative controls, and continued testing and platform hardening. Organizations can deploy the platform as a managed service or in sovereign, self-hosted, and air-gapped environments. When it comes to defense, government, finance, critical infrastructure, and enterprise environments, flexibility means deploying quantum-secure networking in a way that fits existing architecture, security requirements, and operational needs, without a rip-and-replace approach.
