Analyst: OG group holding Bitcoin for over five years has become significantly more active recently

Jinse Finance reported that on September 5, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that the activity of the OG group holding Bitcoin for more than 5 years has increased significantly recently. The 90-day moving average of UTXOs spent by this group has risen to 1,500 BTC, doubling compared to the level in May. The consolidation period seems to have caused doubts among almost all types of investors, including the most experienced OGs. However, these transfers are not necessarily sales; some may be moving BTC to more secure storage methods due to incidents such as the Coldcard incident.
