Bitcoin (BTC) Short-Liquidationen erreichten am Montag ihren höchsten Stand seit fast einem Monat, als der Kurs $64,500 erreichte, wie neue Daten zeigen.


Wichtige Punkte:

  • Bitcoin überschritt die Marke von $64,000 dank eines Short Squeeze auf den Derivatemärkten, so CryptoQuant.
  • Ein anhaltender Abwärts-Reset der Funding-Rate von 0.006% auf 0.003% innerhalb von 24 Stunden könnte weitere Short Squeezes bedeuten.
  • Das Fehlen von Spot-Nachfrage lässt Zweifel aufkommen, ob das Aufwärtspotenzial nach einer Woche mit Netto-ETF-Abflüssen in Höhe von $267.2 Millionen nachhaltig ist.

BTC/USD erholte sich nach dem Wochenschluss am Sonntag und legte am Montag um bis zu 3% zu, um auf Bitstamp ein Wochenhoch von $64,550 zu erreichen.

Bei der Untersuchung des Impulses hinter den jüngsten BTC-Kursgewinnen verwies die On-Chain-Analyseplattform CryptoQuant auf illiquide Märkte und Ungleichgewichte bei den Funding-Rates zwischen den Börsen.


Vor der Erholung am Montag bewegte sich BTC nahe $62,750. Um dieses Niveau herum begannen die Funding-Rates zwischen den Börsen zu divergieren. Shorts dominierten auf großen Plattformen wie Binance, Bybit, OKX und Deribit, während die Funding-Rate auf HTX kurzzeitig auf 0.05% anstieg.
