U.S. spot ether ETFs recorded roughly $39 million in net outflows on Thursday, marking a third straight day of withdrawals, according to SoSoValue. The bleeding has been accelerating through the week: about $141 million left the funds on Tuesday, followed by $224 million on Wednesday. Despite the exodus from the vehicles, ether itself gained 2% over the same stretch to trade near $2,470. The 30-day picture remains firmly positive, with ether funds still sitting more than $1.5 billion in net inflows.
Bitcoin products told a different story. Spot bitcoin ETFs pulled in roughly $159 million on the day, reinforcing a month-long trend that has brought the category to nearly $2.5 billion in cumulative net inflows. The largest cryptocurrency rose more than 1% to approximately $77,216. XRP funds, meanwhile, shed about $5 million, reversing a modest inflow from the prior session, though the token still managed a 2% gain.
