TradingKey - Der Kryptowährungsmarkt verzeichnete eine starke Erholung, wobei Bitcoin (BTCUSD) im Tagesverlauf um über 8 % stieg und sich 70.000 $ näherte, den höchsten Stand seit Anfang Juni erreichte und seinen größten Tagesgewinn seit März verzeichnete. Unterdessen brach Ethereum (ETHUSD) kurzzeitig über 2.300 $ aus und wird derzeit bei 2.263,6 $ gehandelt, was einem Plus von über 18 % entspricht.

Daten von CoinGlass zeigten, dass in nur etwa einer Stunde die Short-Liquidationen auf dem Kryptowährungsmarkt 1 Milliarde $ überschritten. Bitcoin hatte zuvor Monate der Konsolidierung durchlaufen und war zeitweise auf knapp über 60.000 $ gefallen, während sich bärische Positionen am Markt ansammelten. Als die Preise plötzlich nach oben drehten, war eine große Anzahl von Short-Sellern gezwungen, ihre Positionen zu glattstellen, was die Rallye weiter beschleunigte und einen klassischen Short Squeeze auslöste.

Unterdessen boten die Ausweitung der Rückkäufe langfristiger Anleihen durch das US-Finanzministerium, der sinkende US-Dollar und die sinkenden Treasury-Renditen sowie die sich verbessernden Erwartungen für die Regulierung digitaler Vermögenswerte in den USA gemeinsam neue Unterstützung für Risikoanlagen.
