The deal establishes a group wide framework for RBI to integrate digital asset services across its CEE markets, with a progressive rollout tailored to local jurisdictions. Bitpanda Enterprise will provide the underlying trading, custody and infrastructure layer.

The partnership builds on the model first launched in Austria, where Raiffeisenlandesbank NÖ-Wien became the first traditional EU bank to offer crypto trading through its existing banking environment in 2024, powered by Bitpanda’s technology. Why this matters

The agreement could extend bank-integrated crypto access across RBI's Central and Eastern European footprint, potentially reaching around 18 million customers.
