Busha Partners Mastercard to Bring Crypto Credential to Nigerian Users

Through the integration, Busha users can use a unique Mastercard Crypto Credential alias instead of relying on traditional, lengthy blockchain wallet addresses when transferring supported digital assets.

Busha  has partnered with Mastercard  to introduce Mastercard Crypto Credential to its users, enabling them to send and receive supported digital assets using verified aliases linked to their email addresses or phone numbers.

Through the integration, Busha users can use a unique Mastercard Crypto Credential alias instead of relying on traditional, lengthy blockchain wallet addresses when transferring supported digital assets.

Mastercard Crypto Credential is designed to provide verified identifiers for digital asset transactions, helping simplify the process of sending and receiving crypto while adding an additional layer of verification.

The service is now available to Busha users, expanding the cryptocurrency platform’s digital asset transfer capabilities through Mastercard’s credentialing infrastructure.

Why this matters

The integration brings Mastercard’s credentialing infrastructure to Busha users in Nigeria, potentially reducing errors associated with long blockchain wallet addresses. It signals further involvement by major payment networks in crypto-transfer usability and verification, which could support broader consumer-facing digital-asset adoption.
