Insider Brief

  • BWT Alpine Formula One Team and SEALSQ are expanding their quantum technology collaboration to explore hybrid quantum-classical simulation alongside quantum-secure infrastructure.
  • The project will evaluate ColibriTD’s H-DES solver for applications including computational fluid dynamics, thermal, structural and multiphysics simulations alongside classical high-performance computing.
  • Teams from BWT Alpine, SEALSQ and ColibriTD met in July 2026 to establish an initial roadmap and identify priority areas for a planned proof of concept.

PRESS RELEASE — BWT Alpine Formula One Team and SEALSQ (NASDAQ: LAES) today introduce an expanded collaboration that brings quantum-powered computation alongside quantum-secure infrastructure to one of Formula One’s most demanding engineering environments.

Building on the quantum-security partnership BWT Alpine Formula One Team and SEALSQ launched in November 2025, the project aims to add the technology developed by ColibriTD, a company part of SEALSQ quantum investment portfolio, to introduce hybrid quantum-classical simulation capabilities and extract additional insight from the team’s available computing and testing resources.

The project represents a world first: the structured application of quantum-accelerated simulation to solve fundamental physics problems faster and more efficiently than classical methods alone, combined with advanced post-quantum data protection and purpose-built.
