Cardano Price Jumps 30% in a Week: What Happened?
One of the biggest large-cap winners this week has been ADA, with Cardano price rally climbing around 30% on the seven-days period. Towards the $0.26 level, with derivatives activity and on-chain statistics also on the rise alongside some renewed focus on the network’s adoption of the x402 payments standard.
ADA Price, Trading Volume and Weekly Performance
ADA price then increased from approximately $0.20 the week before to $0.25-0.26 on 23 September, with CoinMarketCap giving an approximate market cap of $9.5 billion and stated trading volume in the last 24 hours of approximately $1 billion.
Therefore, given the 10.6% increase on September 18 and the 7.6% increase on September 20, the latest Cardano ADA price movement is not only attributed to a daily upward bounce but is rather a continuation over multiple days throughout the week.
Why This Rally Is Different From Previous ADA Moves
This news comes alongside Cardano’s addition to the x402 software kit, allowing developers to create applications and AI agents that pay for online services using ADA or Cardano-native tokens.
