Nvidia’s strong earnings further confirmed robust AI capital expenditure demand, with shares closing up 8.7% and the technology sector gaining 3.4%. U.S. equities moved broadly higher, with the Dow up 0.20%, the S&P 500 up 0.72%, and the Nasdaq up 1.57%. However, expectations for U.S.-Iran negotiations weakened again after the Trump administration indicated that it had no intention of restoring the terms of the June agreement. Brent crude rebounded 2.12% to $89.70 per barrel, while the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose back toward 4.68%, limiting further improvement in risk appetite. Crypto markets strengthened alongside equities, with BTC briefly moving above 81K in early trading and higher-beta assets such as SOL and HYPE posting stronger gains. Compared with the earlier phase of the rally, which was driven primarily by short covering, the current move is increasingly supported by ETF inflows and capital rotating into altcoins. In the short term, BTC support remains around 78K–79K, while 81K–83K is the key resistance zone. Fed Chair Warsh’s Jackson Hole speech, together with roughly $6.4 billion in BTC options expiring today, could further amplify intraday volatility.
