Combined net outflows across five categories of crypto ETFs tracked by Farside Investors reached $1.29 billion during the Oct. 5-9 trading week, according to data compiled from the research firm's daily tables. Bitcoin and Ether funds accounted for the bulk of the exodus, while smaller products tied to Solana, Zcash and Hyperliquid also posted weekly losses.
The reversal was stark. During the prior five-session stretch ending Oct. 2, the same five fund groups had attracted a combined $29.2 million in net new capital. Bitcoin's earlier inflows had masked weakness elsewhere. When that pillar cracked, the aggregate swung decisively negative.
Ethereum Funds Bleed Across Five Straight Sessions
Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $542.2 million in net withdrawals, up sharply from $138.1 million the previous week. Every trading session in the latest period closed in the red, with Tuesday's $201.9 million exit marking the largest single-day outflow.
BlackRock's ETHA dominated the damage, accounting for $477.1 million — roughly 88% of the category's weekly total. The fund's Tuesday redemption alone matched the entire Ethereum complex's outflow that day. Grayscale's ETHE lost $31.9 million, Fidelity's FETH shed $13.4 million, and 21Shares' TETH posted $7.5 million in withdrawals. Bitwise's ETHW fell $5.9 million, while VanEck's ETHV and Invesco's QETH recorded exits of $3.7 million and $2 million, respectively.
