CypherGenics launched FASTKAT on August 26, 2026, a security technology designed to secure digital identities, authentication, and encryption against both quantum computing and rapidly evolving AI-driven attacks. The platform is supported by a growing U.S. patent portfolio, including U.S. Patent No. 12,587,513, covering techniques for securing digital data with CypherGenics-enabled encryption and digital signatures, the company says.

“Quantum computing will fundamentally change the cybersecurity landscape, and the rise of autonomous AI systems is only accelerating that timeline,” said Kent Kresa, CEO and chairman of the board at CypherGenics. He further stated FASTKAT offers a new approach to protect connected systems and critical infrastructure.

FASTKAT Technology Secures Identity, Authentication and Encryption

CypherGenics’ intellectual property portfolio underpins the FASTKAT technology, extending beyond quantum resistance to encompass secure digital ecosystems, encryption, and blockchain verification. U.S. Patent No. 12,587,513 also covers verification of blockchains and methods for encoding and decoding executable instructions, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to data protection. FASTKAT was launched to address escalating challenges in scalability and complexity facing traditional security architectures as organizations prepare for quantum computing threats and the increasing sophistication of AI-driven attacks.
