Eric Trump’s AI-crypto call at TOKEN2049: “By far” the fastest

Eric Trump said the huge investment in AI will ultimately be the fastest driver of digital-asset growth, Bloomberg reported.

Speaking at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore on Wednesday, Eric Trump said the AI could drive digital-asset growth “by far” the quickest, as AI agents increasingly use crypto wallets for payments.

In his view, AI agents will increasingly need digital payments and programmable money to transact autonomously, while blockchain infrastructure could become a key layer for AI-driven payments and financial systems.

“The faster our peers in AI race toward their goals, the better off our industry will be,” he added.

Reportedly, the statements further added crypto has already “beaten” the big banks while backing tokenization as a way to open investments in real estate, art, and music to more people.

He also said stablecoin growth could boost demand for U.S. debt while pointing to the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency, saying, “Like or not, everybody wants it.”

Importantly, AI, crypto, and payments could create a major new market, he added.

While Eric Trump did not specifically mention any names at the conference, his comments put major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin BTCUSD, Ethereum ETH, Solana SOL, and XRP XRP in focus.

His remarks also bring AI-related stocks such as Nvidia NVDA, Microsoft MSFT, Alphabet GOOG, and Amazon AMZN into focus as the intersection between AI and digital finance continues to develop.
