Feather River College announces a public panel entitled “Artificial or Intelligence? Our Future in an AI World,” set for Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. in the FRC library.

Organizers invite everyone to gather for a panel discussion inspired by the themes of health care, environmental stewardship, the arts, workplaces and administrative justice. These themes are highlighted in “The AI Con,” FRC’s Book in Common for the year. “How is artificial intelligence changing the way we work, create, care for others and make decisions?” ask organizers.

Panelists for this event will include: 

  • Bridget Tracy, environmental studies faculty at FRC
  • Josh Olivera, art faculty at FRC
  • Darlene Oertle, allied health faculty at FRC
  • Phil Rader, administration of justice faculty at FRC
  • David Orvis, software engineer in private industry
