Kraken hat den Handel mit mehr als 7.000 in den USA börsennotierten Aktien für Kunden im Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum (EEA) gestartet und erweitert damit sein traditionelles Finanzangebot neben Kryptowährungen und tokenisierten Aktien.

Die Kryptobörse gab am Dienstag bekannt, dass berechtigte EEA-Kunden US-Aktien über Kraken Pro und die mobile App im Rahmen der Zulassung des Unternehmens gemäß der Richtlinie über Märkte für Finanzinstrumente II handeln können.

Die Aktien sind neben mehr als 600 Krypto-Assets und über 700 xStocks verfügbar, bei denen es sich um tokenisierte Versionen börsennotierter Aktien handelt.

Das Setup ermöglicht es Kunden, herkömmliche Aktien und tokenisierte Darstellungen derselben Vermögenswerte auf einer einzigen Plattform zu halten.

Der Service wird von Payward Europe Digital Solutions bereitgestellt, dem in Zypern ansässigen Investmentunternehmen von Kraken. Kraken gab an, dass berechtigte Kunden in den USA börsennotierte Aktien unter Einhaltung geltender Bedingungen provisionsfrei handeln können. Kraken plant, sein integriertes Aktienangebot in den kommenden Monaten auf weitere Märkte auszuweiten.

Kraken hat xStocks im Jahr 2025 eingeführt und bietet damit einen tokenisierten Zugang zu US-Aktien und börsengehandelten Fonds. Das Unternehmen gab an, dass xStocks seitdem ein Gesamttransaktionsvolumen von mehr als 38 Milliarden $ generiert hat.
