  • MSCI schlägt neue Finanzregeln vor, die Krypto-Treasury-Unternehmen aus wichtigen globalen Indizes entfernen könnten.

MSCI schlägt einen neuen Finanztest vor, der mehrere Krypto-Treasury-Unternehmen aus seinen weithin beachteten globalen Aktienindizes ausschließen könnte. Dabei wird ein früherer krypto-spezifischer Schwellenwert durch eine breitere Palette von Kennzahlen ersetzt, die auf jedes Unternehmen angewendet werden, das nicht operative Vermögenswerte hält.

Das im August veröffentlichte Konsultationspapier des Indexanbieters rückt von einer einfachen prozentualen Obergrenze für Bestände an digitalen Vermögenswerten ab. Stattdessen wird eine fünfteilige Finanzprüfung eingeführt, die darauf ausgelegt ist, „nicht operativ tätige Unternehmen“ zu identifizieren, unabhängig davon, welche Vermögenswerte sie halten – ob Krypto, Gold oder Private-Equity-Beteiligungen.…
