Robinhood Markets Inc. has launched commission-free cryptocurrency trading in the UK.

CoinDesk reported on August 10 that Robinhood will offer UK customers commission-free trading in more than 50 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ether, XRP and Hyperliquid. Trades will be executed through Bitstamp, the crypto exchange Robinhood acquired in 2025.

The service is offered through an integrated platform that gives users access to stocks, options, futures and individual savings accounts, or ISAs, in a single app. Robinhood said many existing UK platforms erode returns through opaque pricing and wide spreads, while its new offering provides a transparent, low-cost alternative.

The company also introduced an artificial intelligence-powered analytics feature. Robinhood Cortex Digest for Crypto combines the latest news, market data, technical indicators and Robinhood's own insights to explain in plain language what is driving price moves in individual digital assets.

Robinhood also unveiled blockchain infrastructure for UK developers. Developers in the UK will now be able to use Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based layer-2 blockchain.

Jordan Sinclair, head of Robinhood's UK business, said a new generation of British investors views digital assets as an important part of a diversified portfolio. The launch marks an important step toward establishing Robinhood as an integrated investment platform in the UK, he added. The service will begin rolling out this week to eligible users in the country.
