Die Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) hat am Dienstag neue Regeln vorgeschlagen, die bestimmten crypto-Projekten einen Weg eröffnen würden, Kapital zu beschaffen, ohne Angebote gemäß den Bundeswertpapiergesetzen registrieren zu müssen, einschließlich einer vorgeschlagenen Befreiung für Angebote von bis zu 75 Millionen $ über 12 Monate.

Der Vorschlag mit dem Namen „Regulation Crypto Assets“ würde einen maßgeschneiderten Angebotsrahmen für bestimmte Investmentverträge mit Krypto-Assets schaffen. Die zweite würde Angebote von bis zu 75 Millionen $ innerhalb eines Zeitraums von 12 Monaten zulassen. Beide Ausnahmen würden bestimmten Bedingungen und Offenlegungspflichten unterliegen.
