- Singapore-based AQSolotl is establishing research, development and commercialisation operations at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Technovation Park in Johor Bahru, becoming Malaysia’s first quantum computing hardware company, according to UTM.
- The operations build on UTM’s quantum research collaborations with Japanese and Singaporean institutions, which helped develop quantum control and computing hardware technologies commercialised through AQSolotl.
