Anthropic busca un acuerdo para adquirir la startup de IA Decart AI por unos $6 billion, informó Bloomberg el 13 de agosto.

Anthropic está en conversaciones para comprar Decart por aproximadamente $6 billion, según el informe. No se ha llegado a un acuerdo final y las negociaciones aún podrían colapsar.

Si se completa, la transacción sería la mayor adquisición de Anthropic hasta la fecha. La medida fortalecería la infraestructura informática necesaria para desarrollar modelos de IA y ampliar los servicios antes de una oferta pública inicial.

Fundada en 2023, Decart cuenta con tecnología que utiliza los semiconductores de manera más eficiente durante el entrenamiento de modelos de IA, reduciendo costes. Anthropic cree que la tecnología podría aumentar la capacidad de procesamiento de su infraestructura existente y ayudarla a satisfacer la creciente demanda de servicios de IA.
