Bernstein Sees Bitcoin Hitting $300,000 Within Three Years

Bitcoin could rise to $300,000 within the next three years as investors buy alternative assets to hedge against fiat-currency debasement.

Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 26 that Bernstein expects Bitcoin to reach $300,000 over that period as demand grows for protection against declining currency values.

Demand for scarce assets such as Bitcoin and gold has been rising amid widening fiscal deficits, expanding sovereign debt and concerns about currency debasement.

If that trend continues, Bernstein said, it could support longer-term growth in demand for Bitcoin.
