BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted $3.55 billion in net outflows during June 2026, accounting for roughly 79% of the $4.5 billion total withdrawn from US spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds that month, according to Farside Investors.
That monthly total is the largest since the funds launched in January 2024, exceeding the previous record of $3.48 billion set in February 2025 by 29%. The nine-day outflow streak that closed the month included $222.6 million on June 30 alone, per SoSoValue
.
CryptoQuant's head of research Julio Moreno
on X that total BTC holdings across US spot Bitcoin ETFs have fallen below 1.25 million BTC, putting them lower than at the same point one year ago. This came even as cumulative net inflows into the funds have risen 4.6% from roughly $49 billion a year ago to just over $51 billion. Total net assets across all US spot Bitcoin ETFs have dropped to approximately $70.9 billion from peaks above $110 billion earlier in the year.
