Bitcoin (BTC) reclaimed the $84,000 level at the time of writing on Tuesday after posting modest losses the previous day. Continued institutional and corporate demand, combined with a slowdown in profit-taking activity on Monday, could ease selling pressure and support a recovery in the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
Institutional and corporate demand remains strong
Institutional and corporate demand for Bitcoin continues to support its price. Data from SoSoValue showed that spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded modest inflows of $31.07 million on Monday, after posting their strongest weekly inflows since October 2025 last week.
Monday also marked the eighth consecutive day of positive inflows since mid-September, highlighting sustained investor interest. If inflows continue and strengthen throughout the week, Bitcoin could extend its current rally.
On the corporate side, Michael Saylor announced on Monday that his company, Strategy, had acquired an additional 1,665 Bitcoin after purchasing 950 Bitcoin the previous week. The company now holds 847,666 Bitcoin, while its total reserves of US dollar-denominated assets stand at $6.02 billion.
The move signals a return to Saylor’s usual strategy of aggressive Bitcoin accumulation, supporting the bullish outlook for the cryptocurrency after the company spent much of the summer strengthening its liquidity position.
