Bitcoin traded below $85,000 after failing to break $87,000 resistance, despite significant spot ETF inflows. The 10-year Treasury yield surged to its highest level since 2007 and traders now pricing in a nearly 60% chance of another 25-basis-point rate hike next month.

Notable Statistics:

  • Coinglass data shows 132,639 traders were liquidated in the past 24 hours for $582.90 million.
  • SoSoValue data shows net inflows of $714.8 million from spot Bitcoin ETFs on Tuesday. Spot Ethereum ETFs saw net inflows of $162.3 million.
  • In the past 24 hours, top gainers include XRP, Hyperliquid and Pepe.

Trader Notes:

Trader KillaXBT said Bitcoin’s new range is still forming, with $80,000-$95,000 a likely zone. He would be surprised by $100,000 this year, but sees pullbacks limited to roughly 10%-15% on the broader move toward $126,000.

Daan Crypto Trades highlighted $83,000-$84,000 as the key line for bullish momentum. The leverage-driven retest offers bulls a chance to defend the breakout.

A sustained move below $83,000 would signal weakness and warrant more caution into month-end.

Michael van de Poppe noted that Bitcoin’s latest liquidity sweep could mark the end of the correction, but a second leg toward $81,000 remains equally possible. Either way, he favors buying dips, particularly in altcoins.
