ETFs pull in $998.95M

U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds drew a net $998.95 million on Monday, the largest daily inflow since bitcoin reached a record high on Oct. 6, 2025.

BlackRock’s IBIT led Monday’s inflows with $381.37 million, followed by Ark’s ARKB with $289.12 million and Fidelity’s FBTC with $238.84 million.

SoSoValue data showed Monday’s inflow was also the ninth-largest since the ETFs began trading on Jan. 11, 2024, and it lifted the month-to-date tally to $1.31 billion after August’s $3.52 billion inflow.

Bitcoin rose 44% to $85,000 this quarter, and the ETFs’ inflow came after bitcoin absorbed a failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act and a Fed interest-rate increase.

The inflow marked the first three consecutive days of gains for two weeks, and it was framed as a vote of confidence from institutions as bitcoin rallied to its highest since January.

Price tops $85,000

Bitcoin jumped more than 5% on Monday to its highest level in eight months, climbing above $85,000 as exchange-traded fund inflows improved risk appetite. Bitcoin rose to $85,222 in early New York trading before retreating to around $85,117, up 4.7% after gains of nearly 6% last week.

Chris Busham of IG said, “The financial markets are rediscovering risk appetite after being weighed down by concerns about government bond yields, debt pileups, and the possibility of a renewed round of monetary tightening by the world’s largest central bank.” Alex Kuptsikevich of FXPro said the crypto market’s total capitalization rose to about $2.8 trillion, the highest since late January, and he added that buyers were once again dominating the crypto market since Sunday.
