CME Group to launch CME CF Crypto Market Index and CME CF Emerging Crypto Index

Effective Monday, August 31, shortly after 10 a.m. London time, CME Group will launch the CME CF Crypto Market Index and CME CF Emerging Crypto Index, free-float market capitalization-weighted indices tracking the performance of the largest and most investable digital assets.

The pricing data will be offered via streamlined CME CF Cryptocurrency Pricing Market Data feed on Channels 213 and 214.

The feed will publish the following:

Real-Time Indices to be published daily approximately once every second:

• CME CF Crypto Market Index – Real Time (CRYPTORT)
• CME CF Emerging Crypto Index – Real Time (ECIRT)

Settlements to be published shortly after 4 p.m. London time each day, including weekends and bank holidays:

• CME CF Crypto Market Index – London Settlement (CRYPTORR)
• CME CF Emerging Crypto Index – London Settlement (ECIRR)

Settlements to be published shortly after 4 p.m. Eastern Time each day, including weekends and bank holidays:

• CME CF Crypto Market Index – New York Settlement (CRYPTONY)
• CME CF Emerging Crypto Index – New York Settlement (ECINY)

Settlements to be published shortly after 4 p.m. Hong Kong Time/Singapore Time each day, including weekends and bank holidays:

• CME CF Crypto Market Index – APAC Settlement (CRYPTOAP)
• CME CF Emerging Crypto Index – APAC Settlement (ECIAP)

These indices will not be used in the settlement of any contracts.

The new cryptocurrency indices will be available for testing in New Release on Monday, August 24.
