Trump's Latest Financial Disclosure Reveals Purchase of Strategy Stock at Yearly Lows

According to Bitcoin Treasuries, U.S. President Trump's latest ethical disclosure form (OGE Form 278-T) shows that his accounts purchased shares of Strategy Inc. (MSTR) on July 24 and 27, with amounts ranging from $1,001 to $15,000 and $50,001 to $100,000 respectively, timed precisely when MSTR was trading near its 2026 low. Since July 24, MSTR has surged approximately 83%.

The White House stated that the aforementioned holdings are managed on a discretionary basis by a third-party firm, and Trump himself is not involved in trading decisions; the positions are disclosed in his capacity as a beneficial owner. Previously, Trump's accounts had also traded Strategy shares multiple times, selling positions totaling $16,002–$65,000 in June. The two new purchase orders in this filing represent additional transactions during the July reporting window.

According to CoinDesk, crypto payment firm MoonPay announced plans to acquire private market investment platform North Capital in an all-stock deal exceeding $60 million. North Capital will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of MoonPay, pending regulatory approval. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, North Capital has facilitated approximately $9 billion in cumulative primary and secondary market transactions. Its affiliated entities hold various SEC-registered qualifications, including broker-dealer, trading, transfer agency, and investment adviser licenses.
