Fundstrat: Bitcoin Volatility Hits Historic Low, 30% Major Fluctuation Possible in Next 60 Days
According to BeInCrypto, Fundstrat Global Advisors Head of Digital Asset Strategy Sean Farrell published a research report pointing out that Bitcoin's current 30-day price volatility has dropped to a historic low. Looking back at the past 8 similar low-volatility cycles, the median absolute price change of Bitcoin within the subsequent 60 days reached about 30.2%, with 4 increases and 4 decreases.
Based on the current price of approximately $64,000, if a 30% upward fluctuation occurs, the target price would be about $83,200; if downward, it would be about $44,800. Farrell also pointed out that Monday's approximately 2% rebound in Bitcoin was mainly driven by short covering, the future direction remains unclear, and the continued rise in real bond yields is the current biggest downside risk.
Shanghai Court Details Criminal Liability Boundaries for Virtual Currency "Traffic Guiding": Fraud Conspiracy is Key Distinguishing Factor
The Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court published a precedent case involving telecom network fraud related to virtual currency settlement, and detailed the criteria for determining whether "traffic guiding personnel" in telecom network fraud crimes constitute accomplices to fraud. The defendant in the case assisted overseas fraud organizations in carrying out "traffic guiding" activities, resulting in victims being defrauded of a total of over 2.34 million RMB; the principal offender was sentenced to 13 years in prison and fined 300,000 yuan.
The Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court pointed out that "traffic guiding personnel" in telecom network fraud cases may constitute accomplices to fraud or the crime of illegally using information networks depending on the specific circumstances. The key lies in judging whether they formed clear criminal intent contact with upstream fraud criminal gangs and whether there was stable collaborative division of labor. In judicial practice, when determining the criminal liability of "traffic guiding personnel," factors such as their role in the crime chain, degree of organization and management, contact with upstream criminal personnel, profit methods, and abnormal behavior performance should be comprehensively considered. If everyone who merely provided help to fraud is uniformly treated as an accomplice to fraud, it is easy to cause sentencing imbalance, violating the principle of proportionality between crime, responsibility, and punishment.
