Kenya's growing digital asset market is attracting greater attention from crypto platforms, institutional investors, exchanges and blockchain infrastructure companies as Nairobi prepares to host one of Africa's major blockchain gatherings in October.

The Africa Blockchain Festival 2026, scheduled for October 15 to 17 in Nairobi, has confirmed Inkryptus as its Title Sponsor, giving the crypto platform a central role in this year's edition as the event expands its focus on digital asset adoption, regulation and financial infrastructure across Africa.

Founded in 2020, Inkryptus is a crypto platform designed primarily for first-time users, offering one account and one wallet without requiring users to manage a seed phrase.

Most of the platform's users are currently based in East Africa, giving its role as Title Sponsor of the Nairobi event a particularly strong regional connection.

"Inkryptus handles the complexity of web3 so our users don't have to," said Pierre L. Pereira, co-founder and CEO of Inkryptus. "Most of the people using the app are in East Africa. Nairobi is where we meet them in person, in the same room as the people writing the rules."

The festival has also secured partnerships involving VALR, the Nairobi International Financial Centre, ADI Foundation, MEXC and payments infrastructure company Passpoint.
