Singapore-based stablecoin payment firm MetaComp said Friday it completed a Pre-A+ funding round backed by Alibaba, bringing its total capital raised to $35 million across two rounds in three months. European early-stage investor Spark Venture also participated in the round, with Beijing-based 100Summit Partners acting as exclusive financial adviser.

MetaComp previously closed a $22 million Pre-A round in December 2025, which drew investors including Eastern Bell Capital, Noah, Sky9 Capital, Freshwave Fund and Beingboom Capital. The combined fundraise adds to growing investor interest in regulated
