Ross Gerber, founder and chief executive officer of US asset manager Gerber Kawasaki Wealth, said Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, has made him skeptical of Bitcoin.
On Aug. 14, Gerber wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that “Michael Saylor has made me skeptical of Bitcoin” and that “it is now hard to take Bitcoin seriously.”
Gerber also criticized Saylor in June. He said at the time that Saylor had claimed he would never sell Bitcoin but ultimately “rug-pulled” the market. Gerber alleged the sale helped trigger a market decline and the unwinding of speculative positions.
